Vivotek FD8161 IP Camera
The Vivotek FD8161 is a fixed-dome network camera offering superb megapixel image quality and full day/night functionality. This camera is ideal for monitoring wide open spaces such as building entrances, airports, train stations, and more. The FD8161 features a 2-megapixel sensor that provides extremely wide coverage with incredible detail. The camera's field-of-view is 6 times larger than that provided by a standard VGA camera.
The Vivotek FD8161 also supports the latest H.264 compression technology which greatly reduces video file sizes, something especially important when you're working with high-resolution megapixel images. This helps to save bandwidth and storage spaces. The camera's cropping function is another exciting feature that provides bandwidth efficiency. This function removes unnecessary information and transmits only the designated portion of the image.
A removable IR-cut filter enables the Vivotek FD8161 to capture clear video images 24 hours a day. The camera comes equipped with built-in IR illuminators (15 meters), and also includes a PIR (Passive Infrared) sensor.
