The ACTi ACM-5001 is a cost-effective IP surveillance solution that delivers high-quality video with VGA resolution streaming at up to 30 frames per second. The camera comes bundled with a f4.2mm/F1.8 fixed lens and offers low-light sensitivity down to 0.5 lux. A progressive scan CMOS sensor captures clear and detailed video images, while selectable MPEG-4 and Motion JPEG compression optimize bandwidth and digital storage capacity.
The camera supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), allowing users to install it anywhere on the network using standard Ethernet cable. Power to the camera is delivered via Ethernet cable, as are video and data transmissions. The ACTi ACM-5001 also features two-way audio for listening in on areas under surveillance, and communicating with those in range of the camera. Other highlights of the ACM-5001 include hardware motion detection, digital I/O, and multi-stream with variable frame rate in the same compression.
