The ACTi ACM-8201 is a PTZ network camera ideal for wide-area surveillance. The camera offers pan/tilt functionality and electronic zoom allowing users to zero in on specific individuals, objects and activity. Additionally, the ACM-8201 features a megapixel lens that provides clear and detailed images, and a much broader field of view than traditional cameras.
To optimize network bandwidth, the ACTI ACM-8201 features selectable MPEG-4 and Motion JPEG compression, and provides multi-stream with variable frame rate in the same compression. The camera offers low-light sensitivity down to 0.5 lux. It streams exceptionally clear SXGA resolution at 8 frames per second
Other highlights of the ACTi ACM-8201 include Power over Ethernet, two-way audio, hardware motion detection and digital I/O. With Power over Ethernet, power to the camera and video/audio data are delivered along a single Ethernet cable. This allows for flexible installation and eliminates the need for a nearby power outlet.
