ACTi ACM-8511 PTZ IP Camera
The ACTi ACM-8511 is a PTZ network camera that allows users to monitor wide areas with remote pan, tilt, and zoom control. It features 10x optical zoom for zeroing in on specific parts of a scene and can cover large areas that would normally require multiple security cameras. The ACM-8511 captures high-quality video images and can stream up to 30 frames per second over a network for remote monitoring and recording. Selectable MPEG-4 and Motion JPEG compression optimize network bandwidth, while multi-stream allows for variable frame rates in the same compression.
With two-way audio support, the ACTi ACM-8511 allows users to listen in on areas under surveillance, and also communicate with those on the other side of the camera. The camera features auto iris control for use in areas where lighting conditions can change dramatically. It also provides auto white balance and backlight compensation to ensure proper exposure. The camera's day/night functionality allows for continuous 24-hour surveillance in any lighting situation.
The ACTi ACM-8511 supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) for flexible installation. Other attributes include hardware motion detection and digital Input/output.
