The ACTi CAM-5321 IP camera offers 24-hour function so that you can enjoy uninterrupted surveillance, even in near-complete darkness, or 0.05 Lux. If your monitoring space contains challenging light situations, this ergonomic box camera also contains an automatic backlight compensation function so that all areas of your surveillance scene will be properly exposed. Backlight compensation is an ideal feature for hotel surveillance, retail security, shopping mall surveillance or in any setting with bright and dark areas that would otherwise render consistent exposure impossible. In addition, automatic and manual white balance and automatic iris control (switchable between DC and video irises) also facilitate the creation of properly exposed, usable footage in case of an emergency.
Remote streaming function works within the confines of your network
To optimize your bandwidth usage, the ACTi CAM-5321 provides multistreaming, with variable frames-per-second ratings in compact MPEG format; this feature allows you to let you view your camera's footage over the Internet without burdening your network unnecessarily. Plus, QoS (quality of service) video streaming and a built-in Web server further assist in providing smoooth, uninterrupted remote viewing. If security is a concern, administrators can create password-protected user accounts so that only authorized individuals may see your video.
