With its 1/4" Interfaced CCD sensor, 22x optical zoom and pan/tilt capability, the ACTi CAM-6500 offers high resolution (up to D1) and better visibility for professional-grade security applications that are always somewhat lit (1 Lux illumination standard). The camera pans a full 360 degrees and tilts 90 degrees on regular, programmed schedules, or you can control the pan, tilt and zoom from the camera's online interface. And because of its two-way audio capability, this Internet camera gives you the capability to communicate with the people at your surveillance site-- a feature ideal for gate security, elementary school security, warehouse surveillance, or at any sensitive entrance!
Edit camera and Webcasting settings as much or as little as you need
The ACTi CAM-6500 also comes with backlight compensation, iris control, and white balance (automatic and manual) so that your images will be properly exposed without forcing you to tinker with the settings during a potentially-important event. Plus, this Internet camera provides variable frame rate and bit rate programming that allows four customized frames-per-second settings in MPEG-4 ASP compression format. To protect your footage from being broadcast to anyone who desires access, administrators may provide a password so that only authorized users can edit camera settings and watch your streaming film online.
