H.264 significantly cuts down on network bandwidth usage and conserves storage space by reducing file size without losing image quality. This makes H.264 cameras like the Arecont Vision AV1305 perfect for critical applications requiring clear and detailed video images with full megapixel resolution.
The AV1305 offers simultaneous support of both H.264 and MJPEG video compression. On average, H.264 delivers 10x bandwidth and storage reduction over MJPEG. Users can stream high-quality 1280 x 1024 at up to 30 frames per second. Images are incredibly clear and sharp, even when objects are in motion.
Because of the camera's impressive resolution, larger areas can be monitored with fewer cameras. This helps to cut down on installation costs while allowing you to monitor wider areas with a single IP camera. The AV1305 provides four times the resolution of VGA IP cameras and analog CCTV cameras. Forensic zooming allows users to zero in on details whether watching the footage live, or while analyzing recorded video. The ability to focus in on details without losing image quality essentially replaces PTZ devices.
