The Arecont Vision AV2105 is a high-performance megapixel network camera designed to handle critical surveillance applications. The camera delivers 2 megapixel resolution for sharp and detailed video images. And thanks to H.264 video compression, the AV2105 can stream this high-resolution video over your network without hoarding bandwidth or storage space. H.264 is the latest, revolutionary compression technology that significantly reduces file size without compromising image quality.
The AV2105 streams full 2 megapixel video (1600 x 1200) at up to 24 frames per second. Images are exceptionally clear, making this camera ideal for surveillance applications where identification and detailed analysis are crucial. The camera offers low-light sensitivity down to 0.1 lux, and is also available in a day/night version with motorized IR cut filter.
Because the Arecont Vision AV2105 delivers such powerful resolution, it supports forensic zooming of both live and recorded images. This means rather than mechanical PTZ, operators can view an entire large scene, and zoom in on specific areas without a loss in image detail. Other camera highlights include built-in motion detection, simultaneous full field view and Region-of-Interest (ROI), image cropping, and multi-streaming.
