The Axis 209FD network camera is the ideal solution for non-invasive video surveillance. The camera is a fixed dome featuring a flat design that makes it the perfect choice for discreet surveillance in indoor environments such as reception areas, hotels, retail shops, and more. It measures a mere 4 cm in height and can be mounted on ceilings or walls.
Easy Installation
Installing the Axis 209FD is a quick and easy process. All of the camera’s components have been optimized to create the flat design which allows you to tilt the lens and control horizontal camera adjustment to achieve the proper angles for wall or ceiling placement. The camera supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) which simplifies installation and eliminates the need for extensive cabling and power outlets. Power to the camera and video transmissions are sent through a single Ethernet cable.
Sophisticated Functionality and Event Management
The Axis 209FD offers remote video monitoring, allowing authorized users to monitor camera footage from anywhere using a desktop or laptop computer. Other advanced features include video motion detection and pre and post-image alarm buffering.
