The Axis 215 PTZ-E is an outdoor-ready network camera boasting pan/tilt/zoom functionality and outstanding performance in both day and nighttime conditions. The camera offers easy, cost-efficient installation in a variety of demanding indoor and outdoor environments including parking lots, business complexes, train stations and more.
The 215 PTZ-E is IP66-rated against water and dust, and features built-in heaters, fans, and a removable sunshield to ensure top performance in a wide variety of difficult weather conditions. For quick and easy installation, the camera includes a pre-mounted wall bracket along with Ethernet and power cables.
Users can view and control the camera remotely over IP networks. It offers full pan/tilt/zoom control including complete 360-degree panning with auto-flip technology. Auto-flip allows for continuous and seamless panning beyond the mechanical stop so users can follow an individual or object without interruption. The Axis 215 PTZ-E also features automatic day/night functionality with a removable IR-cut filter.
