The Axis 215 PTZ Network Camera offers pant/tilt/zoom functionality in a compact, tamper-proof dome. The camera provides high-quality images in both day and nighttime conditions, while transmitting video streams over an IP network for remote viewing and operation. It’s unique 360-degree panning capabilities make the camera ideal for areas such as shops, lobbies, banks, or any location that requires broad overviews along with the ability to zoom in on fine details.
Sophisticated PTZ Control with Auto-Flip
While conventional PTZ cameras have a mechanical stopping point that prevents full circular movement, the Axis 215 PTZ features Auto-Flip functionality for continuous 360-degree panning. This allows you to follow a passing person or object throughout your coverage area, regardless of what direction they’re moving in. The camera head automatically flips 180 degrees to continue panning beyond its zero point. Best of all, the pan/tilt/zoom functions can be controlled remotely over an IP network.
Day/Night Functionality
The Axis 215 PTZ features automatic day/night functionality, a removable IR filter, and light sensitive CCD to provide high quality video in daylight and completely dark conditions.
Two-Way Audio Support
The camera includes two-way audio support allowing you to not only view, but also to listen in on and communicate with visitors or intruders within range of the camera. The camera can also be programmed to send an alarm at a preset audio detection level.
