Axis M1031-W Surveillance Kit
The Axis M1031-W Surveillance Kit makes it easy to create a video surveillance solution perfectly suited for indoor monitoring of retail stores, restaurants, private residences, hotels and more. The surveillance kit is powered by 4 Axis M1031-W cameras that allow remote video monitoring and high-quality video streaming over an IP network. Combined with Axis Camera Station video management software, the 4-camera kit can be scaled and combined to create a customized surveillance solution with up to 50 cameras.
With full VGA resolution the Axis M1031-W cameras deliver high-quality video images at up to 30 frames per second. The cameras also optimize network bandwidth with Motion JPEG, MPEG-4 and H.264 compression technologies in individually configurable video streams. With an integrated passive infrared (PIR) sensor, the Axis M1031-W cameras can detect movement, even in the dark. A white LED is built-in and can illuminate a scene automatically when movement is detected, or by request of the surveillance operator. An integrated microphone and speaker allows for two-way communication.
Along with the 4 Axis M1031-W cameras, the surveillance kit also includes Axis Camera Station video management software for hassle-free monitoring and surveillance. Axis Camera Station allows users to view, record, and export high-quality video in several compression formats including H.264. Installed on any PC, the software enables remote viewing and control of one or several surveillance sites from anywhere with an Internet connection. If a surveillance system needs to be expanded or modified, Axis Camera Station makes it easy to add cameras to an IP network at any time.
