Axis M5013 PTZ IP Camera
The palm-sized Axis M5013 PTZ Dome Network Camera offers ultra discreet surveillance for indoor environments. The camera’s small size makes it ideal for providing security in areas where discretion is a priority including retail stores, restaurants, office lobbies, banks, and hotels. IP51-rated housing protects the camera from dust and dripping and even allows the camera to continue recording when a sprinkler system is activated.
Though compact, the M5013 still comes with some impressive features. The camera includes a 1/4” CMOS image sensor and provides full frame rate video in SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. The PTZ camera comes with 180° pan, 90° tilt, 3x zoom and 25 PTZ preset positions, making it easy to jump to sensitive areas on alarm or sound. With progressive scan the Axis M5013 offers crisper pictures with less motion blur, and H.264 video compression saves network bandwidth and storage.
The IP camera’s built-in microphone allows users to record audio and listen to the recordings remotely. With audio detection analytics, camera users can also trigger alarm events with audio detection. A MicroSD/SDHC memory card slot for local storage offers increased security, allowing continued recording even if the network connection is cut. Using Power over Ethernet (PoE), setting up the camera requires less cabling, bringing down the cost of installation.
