Axis M5014 PTZ IP Camera
Palm-sized and ultra-discreet, the Axis M5014 HDTV PTZ Dome Network Camera is ideal for use in video surveillance configurations where discretion is a priority. The camera’s compact size makes it ideal for providing security in retail stores, restaurants, office lobbies, banks, hotels, and more. IP51-rated housing protects the camera from dust and dripping and even allows the camera to continue recording when a sprinkler system is activated.
The M5104 delivers HDTV 720p resolution with a 1/4” CMOS image sensor. Progressive scan allows the Axis IP camera to provide crisper pictures with less motion blur, and H.264 video compression optimizes network bandwidth and storage. The PTZ camera comes with 180° pan, 90° tilt, 3x zoom and 25 PTZ preset positions, making it easy to jump to sensitive areas on alarm or sound.
With a built-in microphone, camera users can record and listen to audio remotely. Audio detection analytics allow alarm events to be triggered with audio detection. A MicroSD/SDHC memory card slot for local storage offers increased security, allowing continued recording even if the network connection is cut. The camera is powered using Power over Ethernet (PoE), requiring less cabling for installation, saving time and money.
