Axis M7001 Video Encoder
The Axis M7001 video encoder is a compact, cost-effective solution for integrating analog CCTV cameras into an IP-based video surveillance system. This single-channel video encoder supports all types of analog surveillance cameras, including pan/tilt/zoom models. It converts analog footage to digital for streaming over an IP network.
To optimize bandwidth, the Axis M7001 supports simultaneous H.264 and Motion JPEG compression. It can deliver two simultaneous video streams, one H.264, the other MJPEG, at full frame rate in resolutions up to D1. H.264 helps to significantly reduce network bandwidth and storage requirements without sacrificing image quality. The Axis M7001 also supports Power over Ethernet for simple, flexible installation.
