Axis P5512-E IP Dome
Many outdoor video surveillance applications require a rugged, compact camera such as the Axis P5512-E. This discreet dome camera is ideal for monitoring parking lots, gas stations and other open outdoor areas. Despite its small size, the P5512-E packs some powerful features, including 12x optical zoom coupled with 4x digital zoom. With Power over Ethernet, users can control pan, tilt and zoom remotely over a network. Furthermore, its high performance PTZ functions eliminate blind spots with 360-degree panning, auto flip and 180-degree tilt.
This day/night camera features an IR-cut filter that automatically adjusts according to how much light is available. The P5512-E produces 4CIF-resolution images and H.264 and Motion JPEG streams at full frame rate. A major benefit of this camera is that it does not consume vast amounts of bandwidth, nor does it require a large storage capacity.
With IP66-rated and NEMA 4X-rated housing, the P5512-E is well protected from the elements. Thanks to Power over Ethernet and its guarded tour feature, this camera cuts costs by limiting the need for expensive cabling and additional cameras. For added security and the option to record locally, it has a built in SD/SDHC card slot. Especially easy to install, the P5512-E can be wall, ceiling, pole or corner mounted when purchased with the appropriate accessories.
