Axis P5512 PTZ IP Camera
Designed for indoor video surveillance applications requiring a discreet camera, the Axis P5512 is a compact and affordable option. This camera offers powerful PTZ functions that can be controlled remotely over a network, including 12x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom with autofocus. In fact, the P5512 eliminates blind spots with 360-degree panning, auto-flip and 180-degree tilt. Furthermore, the camera’s Advanced Gatekeeper feature lets users preset the camera to monitor specific areas when motion is detected in them before returning to its home position. This camera is well suited for use in business entrances, warehouses and other demanding indoor environments.
To produce quality images day and night, this camera features an IR-cut filter that automatically adjusts for low light. The P5512 offers 4CIF-resolution images and produces H.264 and Motion JPEG streams at full frame rate, making it especially adept at conserving bandwidth and minimizing storage requirements.
With an IP51-rated exterior, the camera is protected from dust and dripping water. Additional features include an SD/SDHC slot for onboard storage and Power over Ethernet. Hard and drop ceiling brackets are included with this easy to install camera, but it can also be mounted on a wall, corner or pole with the correct accessories. When used in conjunction with a multi-connector cable, the P5512 supports two-way audio, audio detection, input/output ports and AC/DC power.
