AXIS Q1635 - Fixed Netword Camera.
High Definition Video Surveillance
If you need to record high definition video that stays smooth even when objects are moving quickly, the Axis Q1635 indoor camera features 1080p resolution and up to 60 frames per second. HD video records at a higher megapixel resolution that traditional cameras, allowing them to capture video files that are wider and clearer.
Standard surveillance video has a frame rate of 30 fps, which works fine in most situations. But if your camera is used to record fast moving objects, such as traffic, you'll need a higher frame rate to ensure the cars remain clear. With the ability to record up to 60 fps (without WDR), you can get exceptionally clear HD video.
Low & Harsh Light Recording
The day/night recording in the Axis Q1635 works by utilizing an automatic IR-cut filter. This filter will automatically react to changing light conditions so the camera will record video in the best quality available:
- During the day (or when lights are on) the IR-cut filter is in place to filter out IR light—this allows the camera to record in color
- To improve light sensitivity at night (or other low-light situations) the IR-cut filter is moved so the camera can use infrared light for black/white recording
In addition, the Q1635 comes with Wide Dynamic Range (WDR). This allows the camera to take brightly lit areas of an image (a window, for example) and areas in shadows (the corner of a room) to balance the lighting so every part is evenly lit and visible.
