Axis Q1922 IP Camera
Most of today’s day/night cameras with low-lux visibility need some sort of light source available to record video, and thus it can be difficult to capture video in fog, mist, or dark shadows. With thermal imagery, no light source is needed. Even in dark, hard-to-see areas such as forests, streets, and parking lots, the thermal Q1922 camera is well equipped to detect objects and persons. The Q1922 thermal camera is also perfect for high-security places like prisons, perimeter security, and U.S. border patrols.
This one-of-a-kind network camera works exceptionally well in extreme climates, ranging from -40F to 140F. This kind of surveillance provides wide coverage in outdoor areas where thieves, intruders, and trespassers may be hiding or loitering.
The features are manifold: weighing just 2.14 pounds, the Q1922 is configured with Wide Dynamic Range and a 10mm and 19 mm lens for optimal video detection performance. Other IP technologies on the Q1922 include VGA resolution, H.264 video compression, and PoE technology to eliminate the need for cumbersome power cables. Several video intelligence tools are built into the IP camera such as video motion detection, an active tampering alarm, support for pan/tilt heads, 30 frames per second at full resolution, and privacy masks. It’s also capable of triggering alarms in case it detects something out of the ordinary.
If you’re looking for true 24/7 surveillance protection with thermal imaging, the Q1922 IP camera may be just what you need. We offer four lens choices to fulfill your surveillance needs.
