Axis 243Q Video Encoder

With four channels and an individual IP address attached to each of your security cameras, the Axis 243Q video server provides you with smooth streaming footage in up to 4CIF resolution. It supports PTZ and dome camera connectivity, giving you the power to control PTZ settings from any Internet connection. With the optional high-density video encoder rack, you may use any combination of up to three Axis blade video servers, which allows you to connect up to 12 analog cameras to your network for online streaming using only one Ethernet port!

Streamlined alarm and event management

For your most vulnerable sites, the Axis 243Q comes with multi-window motion detection, which you may connect to the video server for use in conjunction with external alarms, light sensors, door locks and more! Plus, 9 MB of buffer memory saves pre- and post-alarm images from the events before and after the motion sensor, alarm or other device is triggered; then, you may have the video encoder send the images to a specified e-mail address. Whether you're looking to upgrade your office security cameras, retail surveillance cameras or even campus security cameras, the Axis 243Q works with a wide variety of analog cameras to get your analog system up to speed in the digital age.
