The Bosch NWC-0455-20P is a true hybrid IP camera featuring both Ethernet and BNC connection. The camera can simultaneously stream digital video over a LAN or WAN, while also supporting existing analog equipment by streaming CVBS video over coaxial cable. This allows the camera to provide the benefits of IP-based surveillance while fitting seamlessly into an existing analog system.
To efficiently manage bandwidth and storage capacity, the Bosch NWC-0455-20P uses MPEG-4 compression and also offers multicasting capabilities. Like other Dinion IP cameras, the NWC-0455-20P can generate two independent MPEG-4 and MJPEG streams at the same time. This allows you to stream live images at a different frame rate than recorded footage. The camera can stream DVD-quality 4CIF video at up to 30 frames per second.
For flexible, cost-effective installation without complicated cabling, the Bosch NWC-0455-20P supports Power over Ethernet. With PoE, power is delivered to the camera via standard Ethernet cable.
