It optimizes bandwidth and image quality with H.264 compression. Other features include a privacy button to pause recording, built in speaker and mic for two-way audio and tamper detection. To boost lowlight performance, the IP8133W has built in white light illuminator. Video streams can be individually configured for image quality, resolution and frame rate. Also built into this camera is a PIR sensor for human detection and 802.11b/g/n WLAN for wireless networking. Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) makes it easy and secure to connect wirelessly.

For recording, managing and storing video, this system features the S9Q32 network video recorder by Smartvue. This rugged NVR is so compact that it can fit in the palm of your hand. Like all of Smartvue's NVRs, the S9Q32 comes preloaded with award winning VMS software, and includes Cloudvue, Smartvue's free cloud surveillance service. Cloudvue enables users to manage cameras from anywhere in the world, and it is compatible with most web browsers on PC and Mac computers. Furthermore, Smartvue has a free, award winning mobile monitoring app that can be used on numerous handheld devices, including an iPhone, iPad, or Android. Capable of supporting up to 10 cameras with the purchase of additional camera licenses, this expandable system includes four camera licenses.
