Designed for outdoor surveillance applications, the Panasonic BB-HCM331A is a compact and affordable network camera boasting a variety of sophisticated features. Users can view and control the camera remotely from a standard web browser, and even from cell phones or PDAs. This is an ideal solution for home, office, and small business surveillance, amongst countless other applications.
The Panasonic BB-HCM331A meets both IPX4 and UL6500 standards for outdoor equipment. It's also splash resistant for use in wet weather conditions. Another attribute is the camera's two-way audio functionality. Users can listen in on areas under surveillance, and can also communicate or send voice messages for bidirectional communication.
Using an advanced CCD sensor, the camera captures high-quality video images and can stream them at up to 30 frames per second. Recording can be set to take place automatically or when triggered by motion, sound, light, a timer, or a push button. With its built-in heat sensor, the camera can also be set to record or send email alerts when someone enters the room.
Installation is quick and easy. The BB-HCM331A features built-in software and web server, and its own unique IP address.
