Perfect for monitoring large areas, the Panasonic BB-HCM527A is a dome ceiling-mounted network camera featuring a 73-degree wide-angle lens. The camera also offers 4.6 zoom so you can zero on specific details within the full field of view for identification purposes. Because the BB-HCM527A operates using Power over Ethernet (PoE), it can be installed anywhere along your network, even locations without readily available power outlets. With PoE, a standard Ethernet cable is all that's required to supply power to the camera.
The Panasonic BB-HCM527A can stream full VGA resolution video at up to 30 frames per second. Users can view monitor and store video footage remotely. The camera offers simultaneous MPEG-4 and JPEG compression to reduce video file sizes for remote viewing and recording. MPEG-4 is recommended for live viewing of smooth motion video, while JPEG is recommended for recording of high-quality images.
