Installing the Panasonic BB-HCM581A couldn't be easier - just place the camera where you want to record and connect it, using an Ethernet cable, directly to a network (in an Ethernet outlet) or to a PC. That's it! No software to install, no drills or ladders required. Instead of being controlled from a computer like many other network cameras, the Panasonic BB-HCM581A is controlled directly from a web-based interface. Users log in to Panasonic's viewnetcam.com service, where they can control every aspect of the camera, including zooming in and out, tilting, panning, adjusting settings and more.

The Panasonic BB-HCM581A is tiny and portable - but that doesn't mean its recording features are insignificant. Whether it's in a small office or acts as a vacation home security camera, the BB-HCM581A provides clear, dual-streaming footage (in MPEG-4 and JPEG) at recording rates up to 30 frames per second for high quality footage with maximum flexibility.
