The QNAP VS-4008 Pro Series VioStor is a professional NVR for managing IP cameras. It is suitable for applications requiring remote real-time monitoring and various recording modes with up to eight channels. It is compatible with 800 camera models from a variety of leading manufacturers.
Intelligent video analytics can be controlled through a web browser, and includes tools to detect motion, foreign or missing objects, out of focus lens and camera obstruction. Video is searchable by date and time, alarm event or timeline. Additionally, channels can be played back at different speeds. Other features include digital watermarking, event management, remote viewing with a compatible phone and SMS/email alerts in real-time.
The VS-4008 Pro offers versatile recording modes, including H.264, MxPEG, MPEG-4, M-JPEG and up to 8-megapixel recording. With up to 8-TB capacity, RAID data protection and two gigabit LAN ports, this NVR delivers reliable data storage. Additional protection is provided with secure access control and user management.
This is a comprehensive stand alone solution that doesn’t use a PC or additional software. It simply requires a VGA monitor, USB keyboard and USB mouse.
