Network video recorder (NVR) servers are standalone, PC-less video management solutions. Vivotek offers 4 and 8-channel servers that only support Vivotek cameras. NVR servers come pre-installed with video management software for recording and managing a video surveillance system. Vivotek’s NVR servers record high-definition megapixel video on a hard disk drive. The NVRs offer advanced features including a Raid 0 and 1 storage solution, a built-in gateway for maximizing bandwidth by separating network cameras from the regular data network, and has Power over Ethernet (PoE) ports, which means you don’t need a switch or injectors.
