For indoor applications requiring high-quality footage, the easy-to-operate Vivotek FD8134 fixed dome network camera provides clear and detailed images in one compact package. With a 1 megapixel sensor, the FD8134 has a viewing resolution of 1280 x 800 at 30 frames per second. A removable IR-cut filter enables day and night function for true 24-hour surveillance.

Additionally, the fixed dome camera uses H.264 video compression to optimize bandwidth and network storage. Video streams can also be transmitted in MPEG-4 and MJPEG formats for multiple users across different platforms requiring varying resolutions, frame rates, and image qualities.

The need for a nearby power outlet and complicated network of wires is eliminated with the FD8134. The network camera supports Power over Ethernet. Power to the camera is supplied via a standard Ethernet cable, which also handles all data transmissions to and from the camera.
