Designed for use in extreme temperatures and harsh weather, the outdoor-ready Vivotek FD8362 is a fixed dome camera with a two-megapixel sensor. This day/night camera offers wide dynamic range and progressive scan, making it especially adept at producing clear, properly exposed images even in challenging light.
The flexible yet powerful FD8362-E meets all HDTV standards, ensuring great image quality with a 16:9 wide aspect ratio and excellent color rendition. Furthermore, the FD8362 has a varifocal lens that is suitable for use in a range of demanding outdoor applications, such as stadiums, transit stations and more. With its metal vandal-proof, weatherproof housing, this rugged camera is built to endure the elements and security threats. In fact, with its integrated heater, it operates in as cold as -40-degrees Fahrenheit and as hot as 131-degrees Fahrenheit.
Power over Ethernet and remote focus feature makes it easy to install this camera. PoE minimizes the amount of cabling required, while remote focus enables users to fine tune the lens from a computer. It also features a built in Micro SD/SDHC card slot for on board storage, two-way audio support and a built in mic for audio recording.
The FD8362-E camera comes bundled with Vivotek recording software, and is protected by a three-year manufacturer warranty.
